So you want to be a writer?
I don’t blame you! I have never wanted to be anything else. Perhaps way back when I was little I may have some aspirations of being a doctor or lawyer, but for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a writer. Thankfully, I made that dream a reality, and I work for a great little company and write every day!
Why freelance writing?
As much as I love what I do, I’m not content to write just one type of thing all of the time. So lately I have been learning the in’s and out’s of freelance writing. Freelance writing allows you to select projects that are a good fit for your skills, and that you will enjoy writing. It also let’s you control your own income and your own hours. You want work as much or as little as you want.
So how do you become a freelance writer?
There are a lot of ways to go about finding freelance clients, but it can be overwhelming figuring out where to look, who to trust, and what to charge. That’s where Gina Horkey of Horkey Handbook has helped me so much! She offers an amazing course called 30 Days or Less to Freelance Writing Success and it teaches you everything you need to know to become a successful freelance writer with high paying clients.
Her course is amazing and I am already talking to freelance clients even though I’m not finished with the course! She is getting ready to release a new version with twice the materials and resources, so she is taking her current course off of her site after tomorrow!
Gina is a freelance writer herself, and built her career while working a regular job, and taking care of her family. She now earns enough to do this full time, and to enable her husband to quit his job and be a stay-at-home dad. She doesn’t hold anything back about how she did it, and how you can do it too. There are so many great action steps that anyone can take, and she gives you so many great suggestions and resources. Many people who have gone through her course are in the Facebook group talking about how they’ve been able to leave their day jobs and pursue writing full time. Her methods work if you put the work into them.
So why buy the course now?
If you buy her course now, you can start it right now. But, she’s going to give you free access to the new course materials too! So if you buy now you can start immediately, or wait until the new course comes out. Best part is, you will be getting the new course at a lower price, because the new version is going to cost more. So, if you have ever considered freelance writing, but you want help getting started, then you’re going to want to get this course! Not only that, you get to be part of a great facebook group that is super supportive.
